How tuition is calculated?
Tuition is calculated for the year. We take into account holidays, emergency closings, sick days, vacations and then remove that from the year's total. We then divide that into 50 equal payments for parent's convenience. No payment is due on the 2 weeks we are scheduled to be closed for the full week (Spring Break and Christmas Break). Due to payments being divided equally no discount will be applied to any other week. (Please see the closures tab for more information on holiday closures.) This is to maintain a balanced budget and keep tuition as low as possible.
When is payment due?
Payments are due on the first day of every week (except for the 2 weeks mentioned above). Tuition is due every week regardless of attendance. The tuition pays for the spot not for the attendance.
Tuition increases
Tuition is recalculated every year based on the current budget, inflation, and the school's needs. Sometimes inflation or the cost of living changes suddenly. There may be times throughout the year where we have to raise tuition only for the new enrollments. Current enrollments will not be affected until after the yearly budget meeting.
